Gershwins
Misc, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, United Kingdom
T’was a cold December night when the, smarter than usual, rabble arrived at Gershwins awaiting a feast worthy of the higher than normal price tag. The menu was set in advance and had many an appetite brimming with anticipation. Unfortunately, for most, the finished product delivered little more than essential roughage to aid the inevitable passage of 10 hours of heavy drinking. Although the décor had class, the service was slow and scatty, which, admittedly, wasn’t helped by the large number of party-sized groups awaiting service. One for the history books, I’m afraid, an experience not to be repeated.
