Italian Newcastle-upon-Tyne, United Kingdom
Too many pre-EC drinks meant we were ravenous on entering The Godfather which was warm and welcoming, the décor being old-school Italian and no worse for that; disappointingly no Tommy guns. Food is rustic and hot, perfect for when the temperature outside is typically Northern. Usual thing with pizza and pasta, too much to finish even though you want to. Specials are delivered verbally rather than on the wall and they are definitely special: nobody can argue with bacon wrapped black pudding apart from veggies and they don’t count, I mean, C'mon pig is delicious...

Agree on the 4 stars. Thought it was a good venue. The only let downs were the saltiness of my pizza and the afore-mentioned lack of visual specials menu.
That's quite a well written review!
I reckon he must have had some help........ :)
It was that or do some work... My eloquence with a hangover knows no bounds.
