Charlie's Chinese Buffet by OMC

Newcastle-upon-Tyne, United Kingdom

Recently refurbished this medium sized all you eat buffet is clean and slightly soulless, I found myself longing for a stained wall and the nasty cheap Chinese pictures. This ranks as the benchmark for food in the Newcastle Chinese buffet market, the evening range being well over 40 dishes of genuine variety. My own recommendation is to start with fried entrees and dips including satay sticks, a bowl of soup, then onto the mains, lemon chicken is good. Service is basic being a buffet, but reasonable with drinks etc. Value is excellent but depends on stomach size.
