Although Eat Club is a free flowing, growing organism, we have imposed some guidelines to help it on it's way.

One day shall be eating day.
- Guideline 2
A person will choose a venue and post it on the website with as much detail as possible
- Guideline 3
The venue will be chosen and confirmed a minimum of 36 hours before eating ∗
- Guideline 4
An Eat Club must have a minimum of two people eating
- Guideline 5
The meal should cost less than £15.01 a head, excluding drinks †
- Guideline 6
The aim is to eat at 52 different venues through the year ‡
- Guideline 7
Rotation of ethnic flavour means that no cuisine can occur more than once every 3 visits
- Guideline 8
Almost anyone may attend and current members should actively encourage new members; during someone's first time every one must be (reasonably) polite to them

The venue must have seats

Reviews for the various visits may be written and submitted to the website, but must be 95 to 100 words long and contain reference to décor; service; quality of food and value for money

Booking is anathema to Eat Club ethics; Eat Club is a mass movement; minor organisation; anarchy; firearms free zone ψ
- Guideline 12
If anyone has a complaint with the establishment they are to voice their concern at the time of eating to the appropriate person and pursue it to a nonviolent end. If the complaint is not made at that time the complainant loses any rights to whinge after the event ς

There are two levels of participation; 1) Members, 2) Non-Members
- Guideline 14
Eat Club is allowed in various cities or separate "chapters". Generating their own rules to fit their locality, they can use these rules as framework or do what they like within reason. φ

The rules are subject to change by the Eat Club Non-Organisers at any time, without warning or reason
