In a short summary, Eat Club is a social networking site based on food and, shock horror, real life.
In stark contrast to other mass-movements that promise so much yet deliver so little, Eat Club is an entity of the people, by the people and for the people. A simple and effective solution to the culinary confusion that has troubled too many people for far too long.
So, what exactly is Eat Club?
Eat Club is simply an idea. It's a chance to explore cities, new genres of food and to increase your circle of friends. We get together and visit restaurants, have a laugh and, if the mood takes us, review the venue in questions. All this takes place under the vague guidelines that form Eat Club.
Where on earth did you get this idea?
Eat Club was formed by a small group of people who realised that, although they had been living in the same city for many years, they hadn't explored all the various culinary establishments that it had to offer. This is simply due to the fact that most people find a few restaurants they like and re-visit them, safe in the knowledge that they know what's on offer and what they like. We decided to try new places and impose rules or guidelines to help us. (We're simple like that).
